Bollywood actor and comedian Birbal Khosla, known for his iconic role as a prisoner with a half mustache in the movie "Sholay," passed away yesterday at the age of 83.
The actor has worked in over 500 movies. Some of his notable films include "Sholay," "Mera Gaav Mera Desh," "Tapasta," "Sadma," "Dil," "Fir Kabhi," "Raaste Ka Pattha," "Amir Garib," "Sun Meri Laila," "Anita," "Insaan," "Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka," and "Mohobbat Ki Arzooo", etc.
Birbal Khosla began his acting journey in 1967 with the Bollywood movie "Upkar". He has also worked in Punjabi, Bhojpuri, and Marathi cinema, in addition to Hindi.
