While 2023 started off with Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan, breaking box office records, 2024 started with Fighter emerging as the first hit of 2024. Having crossed 352 Crores in gross box office collections worldwide and still running in theatres globally, the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer has extended the hit streak. The recent box office reports indicated that Fighter crossed 352 Crores in gross worldwide collections.
Taking to Instagram, Marflix Pictures shared, “Gratitude for all the love 🙏🏻 #Fighter Forever🇮🇳” https://www.instagram.com/p/C3hmKw1RWYO/

Siddharth Anand has directed eight films ranging from Semi-Hit to All Time Blockbuster. He made his directorial debut with Salaam Namaste in 2005, followed by Ta Ra Rum Pum in 2007. The 2008 Ranbir-Deepika starrer Bachna Ae Haseeno also emerged as a box-office hit and was also Ranbir’s best performance at the box office at that time. Breaking away from the conventional, Anand delved into action with Bang Bang! in 2014, starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif.

Grossing 333 Crore worldwide, Bang Bang! became the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of 2014. The streak continued with War in 2019, an adrenaline-pumping action thriller featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Receiving critical acclaim for its gripping storyline and spectacular action sequences, War grossed over 475 Crore and went on to be the highest-grossing Indian film of the year. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer and Siddharth Anand directorial, Pathaan, kickstarted a stunted Bollywood Box Office post pandemic and marked a watershed moment for Anand as the film went on to gross over 1,050 Crores at the worldwide box office.

The filmmaker is the first from the Hindi film industry to deliver a 1,000+ Crore film (without China). Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures, Fighter stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in key roles. Fighter is in theatres now.
