Vikrant Massey Confirms '12th Fail' Submission to Oscars

Actor Vikrant Massey has revealed that filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra's recent release '12th Fail' has been submitted for consideration at the Oscars as an independent nomination. Massey, who plays the role of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma in the film, shared the news during a media event.

In addition to discussing the film's submission, Massey also took the opportunity to reflect on his journey in the Indian film industry, which began when he was just 15 years old. He recalled the financial constraints he faced during his early days and his determination to support himself while pursuing his acting aspirations. 

Massey's career trajectory includes a diverse range of roles in television shows and films. He made his debut with the television show 'Dhoom Machao Dhoom' and subsequently gained recognition for his performances in 'Balika Vadhu' and 'Qubool Hai'. His film credits include 'Lootera', 'Dil Dhadakne Do', 'Half Girlfriend', 'Chhapaak', 'Haseen Dilruba', and 'Gaslight'. 

Massey's upcoming projects include the sequel 'Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba'. The actor's dedication and versatility have garnered him a loyal fan following, and his involvement in '12th Fail' has further solidified his position as a prominent figure in the Indian entertainment industry.
